EMERGENCY SHELTER
What we do
North Side Housing & Supportive Services has operated our Emergency Shelter since 2011. Our staff provides inclusive, life-saving and person-centered services for over 300 men each year. We are proud to be one of the few shelters in Chicago that operate 24 hours a day for 365 days a year. We serve up to 72 men at one time and provide showers and the following services:
The shelter collaborates with its long-time partner 2 Li'l Fishes in providing hot, filling lunches for our residents and community 6 days a week.
