Each person who arrives at NSHSS comes with a unique set of problems so case management services are developed and implemented for individuals based on their specific needs. North Side offers:

Community-Based Intensive Case Manager

Two intensive case-managers serve our Interim Housing Program, providing consistent and regularly scheduled time with consumers to help build their capacity to end homelessness. They may provide referrals to the on-site nurse practitioner, permanent housing programs include North Side’s, job leads, and other resources with the goal of acting as a partner to participants and not a warden.

Supportive Housing Program (SHP)Case Managers

Three SHP case managers serve our SHP program participants by acting as partners to our tenants, providing encouragement, advice on financial management, suggestions and being a listening ear. Our participants find out quickly–we are here to help them gain control of their lives, make informed and prudent decisions that lead towards independent living. At North Side, we focus on empowerment, setting our participants up for success.
